You know you're a mom when...

You know you are a mom when...

- after wiping snot away from your kids nose for the millionth time that day you still think, "That is the cutest little nose I've ever seen!"

- you can't look at mustard the same way again.

- you plan your day around the 12 o'clock meltdown

- you're driving along and after making a quick stop, six matchbox cars roll under your feet. Oh, and there's your lipstick you haven't used in years too!

- you can find everything you need to re-make a happy meal from under the car seat

- when your sweet little one barfs in your hand your first thought is not, "Well, that's horrifying and gross." But instead, "I'm glad I was there to catch it before it ended up on the floor!"  (This happened to me twice today! Isn't that nice?)

- ProFlowers has nothing on a dandelion bouquet, Picasso has nothing on Selina's stick people, Lady Gaga has nothing on Keira's rendition of the Strawberry Shortcake theme song

- Function  can't coffee  without

- 2 hours of alone time = best vacation ever.

- You fall asleep to "It's the Mickey Mouse Club house. Come inside, it's fun inside." replaying over and over in your head.

- secretly, you still find it thrilling to color in the lines and proudly display your art to your kids who love everything you do.

- you find yourself cutting your dinner into a million little bite-size pieces on date night

- also on date night, you remember what food tastes like when it's warm, and it's good.

- after your kid poops in the bath tub, pukes in your hands, screams all the way through the store, throws a cup at your head while you're driving, colors on the wall, breaks something, throws a temper tantrum, asks a million questions, hides your car keys, fights with their sibling, pees on the floor (again) - your heart melts when you watch their little chest rise and fall with each breath as they are sleeping. Even though they are far from perfect, they're ours and perfect for us  :)

Are you sure you're not a stand-up comic in disguise?

Seriously! You slay me.

My favorite line was the "I'm glad I was there to catch it" reference. True dat, lady! True dat.
